I have been working on a few new features to the site.
From now on it is possible for us to upload photo's and create blogs while on the go straight from your email enabled mobile phone, or even from your normal mail client!
Ho do I perform this piece of wondrous wizardry you ask yourself? Well, here's a simple step by step process to do it.
- 1: Login to your Bitterfreaks Account
- 2: Click the Account Settings Link in the left hand menu.
- 3: Roll down till you see Mobile/Mail Blogging under there you will see a text field labeled PIN - enter yourself a 4 digit code that you MUST take note of in this box, Click save.
- 4: OK thats the setting up done .. now you can goto your mail client (either on your computer or Phone) and send a mail to - blogme@bitterfreaks.com the subject line of the mail MUST be your username followed by the 4 digit code you picked for your PIN (ie : zombie3456).
The Mail Body will be the content of your blog post, with the first 30 letters or anything upto the first .(period) being the title. You can send pictures or attachments with this mail, and they will end up in your files. Cool Eh?
You have no excuses now people! Get Blogging!
I will write a proper tutorial for this and put it in the FAQ.. errr which I also will finish soon!
