In the midst of all I see
there is you
there is me
Now thru the dark
you shine forth
washing my path in light
once onyx with unsurity
now white with purpose
clearing my thoughts of troubling things
asuring my eyes of what seems to be
all at once
I burst to life
Your light shine through me
as we embrace
Don't let go
Please don't let go
I need your light
I need your flame
We begin to walk, your hand in mine
our paths join, stretching before us
becoming one
In our new found light
In our new found life
My memories of the dark slowly fading
Like the moons gentle beams at morns first sight
These memories, once reality
untangable even to a dream
and in the midst of all I see
there is you
there is me
That one was inspired by a dream, I'm pretty sure

thats lovely and it gave me goosebumps ...
it does sound like a dream :)
I sometimes find inspiration for poems from dreams too.
Anyway, I really like how you begin and end this poem:
"In the midst of all i see
there is you
there is me"
Very nice :)
