Atrocious people fill beautiful spaces.
Smog and smoke choking out love.
Fist fly, voices raise.
There is no hope.
Downward spiral of lost souls.
Deeper we fall.
Slipping from lights welcomed beams.
Into abyss.
No justice, no peace.
Simply darkness as our payment for ignorance

Me and a few buddies were playin with some perkisets and somehow we got my hair in a faux hawk on the top
I really wish I knew what we did to it
cause I wanna do it again!

Anyone know how I could do it?
cause I've tried everything I know, and it just falls after about 10 minutes

LIGHT

In the midst of all I see
there is you
there is me
Now thru the dark
 you shine forth
washing my path in light
once onyx with unsurity
now white with purpose
clearing my thoughts of troubling things
asuring my eyes of what seems to be
all at once
I burst to life
Your light shine through me
as we embrace
Don't let go
Please don't let go
I need your light
I need your flame
We begin to walk, your hand in mine
our paths join, stretching before us
becoming one
In our new found light
In our new found life
My memories of the dark slowly fading
Like the moons gentle beams at morns first sight
These memories, once reality
untangable even to a dream
and in the midst of all I see
there is you
there is me

That one was inspired by a dream, I'm pretty sure

teardrops fall like liquid confessions from these mute eyes of regreat and misconception
breaking the self proclaimed silence with deafening resistance
cries of malice lash fourth
gnawing at the hearts of the injust
sitting idly by
watchin the corruption from throwns of greed and lust
all the while pocketting the currency of our mindless indulgances

I was listening to the Dresden Dolls the other day. They're pretty much up at the top of my favorite bands of all time. I LOVE them!

Then I went through the rest of my stuff and just catagorized in my mind what each band fell under.

I listen to about....

5% acoustic

5 % uncatagorizable

10% techno

20% screamo/emo

20% percent of a jumbled mess of raging, in your face, kill you on contact metal

30% Punk

(that's an EXTREMELY abbriviated list... just taking head calculations here)

sooooo...

then tell me

Why do I get called emo if most of the stuff I listen to is punk or meatal?

I hate labels in general

but

if I do listen to emo, it's not MCR or anything pop punkish

I listen to the almost punk stuff... it's a very thin line my emo bands walk between punk and emo

(not to bash MCR or anything, they're alright.... i just don't prefer them)

I was writing a song today

so

I decided to go outside and climb a tree. I do that quite often when I'm writing. It's pretty refreshing. I got side tracked by a chipmunk that was having a fit. I mean, he was just NOT happy about something. Come to find out there was a snake. So, I decided to just watch the scene unfold.

I waited there for around 30 minutes. The chipmunk still upset, the snake still there
30 minutes

Then, the snake just left

No harm done to anything, no one eatin, no one harmed

The only one with a problem was the chipmunk, who was basically pissed at the snake for just existing

Then it hit me!

Most people are like that chipmunk, getting all worked up over NOTHING at all. I prefer to be seen as the sake in this situation. I go about with my buissness not bothering anyone or anything. Now, tell me... Do you not think that if I were a chipmunk I would already be so stressed out and on soooo many med.s that I couldn't function without some kinda of medications to calm me down.

You see
That's my problem with the world today.... They're all chipmunks

No one's a snake
