BitterFreaks - Alternative Music, Community, News, Reviews Is as the tagline suggests an unholy alliance of "Bittersweet Embrace" and "Freaks-R-Us".
Giving in on the dating site concept for the much more modern concept of "Social Networking" we are trying to create a Niche specific platform for sharing Alternative Music News, Views and Reviews as well as giving people methods of connecting and making Online and Offline friends.
At present the site boasts the ability to add yourself as a person (or band), the ability to customise your personal profile templates, the ability to add or join communities, send and recieve messages, shouts, comments and all the normal social networking palava.
There are plans to add much more as we go on, and we do not intend to sit still, using the knowledge we have gained from BSE, FRUS and more recently Rockworld.TV plus many other projects we have been working on, rest assured there is more to come.
Users of BitterFreaks - Alternative Music, Community, News, Reviews will have a digital repository of artefacts which can be private or shared within communities. They will have a weblog which will be able to link to artefacts in the repository creating a useful bed for reflection. The social networking protocol will allow users to join up and create a variety of communities. All elements and artefacts can have access privileges attached determining who can view them.
It is hoped BitterFreaks - Alternative Music, Community, News, Reviews will be a fun, useful tool which will place the people at the center of their alternative digital world.
